B. Thomas is a Los Angeles native and self-taught multidisciplinary visual artist working in portraiture.

Her practice draws as much from years of formal dance training and a professional career in hairstyling as it does from any formal art education — a physical understanding of movement, gesture, and form carried directly into acrylic, pencil, pastel, and digital media.

Each piece begins as an unplanned mark, resolving into a likeness that examines identity, emotion, love, vulnerability, resilience, and human connection.
